Recruit 20,000 active volunteers into the Texas Blue Action Network by the 2026 midterm elections.

Why It Matters:

If Democrats want to win in Texas, we must turn out at least 1,000,000 like-minded voters who have been sitting out elections. The good news? They’re already out there. We just have to reach them.

How We’ll Do It:

Through Texas Blue Action’s Relational Organizing and Block Captain programs, we empower volunteers to connect with voters all year long building trust, sharing information, and turning conversations into votes by November 2026.

We believe in the power of people talking to people, neighbors helping neighbors make their voices heard. Every vote matters. And every conversation counts.

There are millions of eligible Democrats in Texas who don’t vote. Not because they don’t care, but because no one has asked them.

We’re changing that. When we show up for each other, we don’t just win elections, we transform what’s possible for healthcare, education, wages, and democracy itself.

Since 2018 Democrats running in statewide races in Texas have been losing by wider margins. There are enough non-voting Democrats to win these races. We don’t need to waste time persuading MAGA Republicans to support our candidates.

  • 2018 Midterm (U.S. Senate): 4,045,632 Democratic votes; lost by 219,427

  • 2020 Presidential (U.S. President): 5,259,126 Democratic votes; lost Texas by 631,221

  • 2022 Midterm (Governor): 3,539,152 Democratic votes; lost by 883,443

  • 2024 Presidential (U.S. Senate): 5,031,249 Democratic votes; lost by 959,492

Democrats across Texas must be focused on turning out 1 million Democratic leaning voters above average to overcome this vote margin.
